Winter’s garden, cold as stone –
No place for man, or garden gnome.
But as March’s dawn brings onwards Spring
Crocuses shall blossom
And Blackbirds sing
Then what will become of our garden fairies?
That’s up to the gardener –
For taste in ornaments vary.
