Colleen’s syllabic challenge this week is to write a poem which uses synonyms for circled and squared. I went with the cinquain form and the idea of circling around an issue (circled) when what is needed is coming to see things eye-to-eye (squared).
Beating
Around the bush
Won’t get us anywhere
Resolution needs to be found
Declared

I like it and I like that you wrote what you were thinking. Sometimes it is hard to “see” what someone is trying to say in their words. That is something I will openly admit I am awful at…
