Of her beauty she was sure
At the reflection of lustrous jet of her mane
She did stare
No greater beauty from far or near
Could to her in anyway compare
And with her narcissistic self approval complete
She did from the crystal pond retreat
And seeking something now to eat
To the roadside she did repair
A flattened hedgehog as her fare
Padre
An apt personification (love me some ravens) that is rife with imagery too; rocking the prompt. Your rhyme schemes are clever and varied as well.

Raven, crow, corvid, blackbird, all alternately admired and reviled, but always noticed! Great write.

You drew that raven with regal beauty and confidence. Thanks for joining in.

Ravens normally don’t have the ability to make me giggle … this one did!
